HUNT Welcomes Back Two Interns as Full-Time Employees

HUNT has started our year welcoming several new members to our team in both our Rochester, NY and Horseheads, NY offices.

Jacob Brennessel joins our structural engineering group, working out of the Rochester office. Jacob was hired full time after interning for two consecutive summers at HUNT, while completing his Bachelor of Science Civil Engineer degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. He brings his ability to develop structural drawings and specifications to his K-12 and private market projects.

"I knew during my first internship with HUNT that I would want to work here full time," Jacob said, "I was excited to come into work every day and learn new things. I enjoyed the environment of the offices, the projects I got to assist on, and the people I got to know and work with. During my internships I felt as though I had become a member of the HUNT family, and there was just no way I could turn down an offer to belong to it."

Matt Coles also began his career at HUNT as an intern and recently joined the MEP department full time in the Horseheads office. He earned his Associate Math and Science degree from Corning Community College and Bachelor Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from Alfred State. He will be supporting K-12, municipal and private market projects with his mechanical design expertise.

Matt said his decision to work at HUNT was "based on the relationships I made with people from being an intern and the overall enjoyable atmosphere that is held inside the office."
