Marking its 120th anniversary, The Burdett Fire Department broke ground on their new fire hall Friday, May 11th. The new 11,000 square foot structure will house the village hall, community areas and multi-purpose shared-use rooms. Burdett Mayor and former Fire Chief Dale Walter was in attendance along with community members, each with a personal connection to the site, which was originally built in 1948. HUNT’s team, led by project manager,Christopher Bond, worked on this project for over two years and is equally excited to provide this community with a long-awaited, essential building.
