At an August 2017 conference at Corning NY, the New York State County Highway Superintendent Association’s (NYSCHSA) awarded HUNT’s Vice President of Engineering Chuck Franzese, PE their “Lifetime Achievement Award”. A HUNT founding member and longtime principal, Chuck’s career building bridges in NY and PA began with a transportation engineering background (with degrees from SUNY Alfred and Tri-State College of Indiana). From that foundation, Chuck has designed and project managed innumerable municipal civil engineering design and consulting projects in NY and PA. They include: public water and wastewater treatment projects, landfills and landfill containment systems, drainage studies, and the development of parks and pedestrian ways.
