HUNT was selected to assist the District in passing its $11.9 million project referendum for work at Edison High School and Dr. Nathan Cohen Elementary/Middle School.


At both schools, improvements included, upgrading security systems, creating more secure building entrances, upgrade of building and classroom technology infrastructure, repairing exterior masonry, upgrade of telephone system, creation of new classroom space within existing buildings, and repairing and reconstruction of asphalt roads and parking lots.


At the high school, improvements included, making public restroom ADA accessible, renovation of the kitchen, reconstruction of pool area into district offices and instructional space, creation of a new distance learning lab, reorganization of administrative offices to improve efficiency, safety, and security, replacing of score clocks in gymnasium, and replacement of auditorium curtains.


At Cohen School, improvements included roof replacements, refurbishment of Middle School entrance canopy, upgrading auditorium, replacement of electrical panels, upgrading building lighting controls, providing required water supply backflow prevention device, and providing emergency egress lighting.
In the summer of 2016, HUNT created a new synthetic turf field for the District. The design required a removal of an existing aging turf system, leveling of the stone base underneath and cleaning/repainting of the existing track surfacing.  In addition to the scope at the stadium, the tennis and basketball courts were fully replaced.
