As we embark on new growth opportunities, we seek an experienced and driven Senior Bridge Design Engineer/ Project Manager to lead a team, alongside other experienced teams, through the design of new construction and rehabilitation of existing bridges to clients across NY State and PA. This position is open to our Binghamton, Horseheads, or Rochester, NY offices.
Role Overview
Lead and manage bridge design projects from scoping through construction phases.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control to ensure project objectives are met.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineering team members, enhancing overall project delivery.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other transportation teams to develop practical and cost-effective design solutions.
Conduct and review structural analyses, prepare engineering reports, and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
Participate in business development efforts, including proposal writing, client presentations, and the fostering of long-term client relationships.

Candidate Qualifications
10+ years of bridge design engineering experience, with a proven track record in project management.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Strong knowledge and experience in foundation design, structural design, hydraulics and hydrology, local and state bridge/ culvert rehabilitation and replacement, as well as NYSDOT Specifications/ Standards.
Strong business development skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge in planning, specification and proposal preparation.
Compensation
$100,000- $130,000 per year. Salary commensurate with experience and talent.
